Education
Licensees are required to complete 45 hours of continuing education during each 3-year cycle, to include: 24 hours of required* courses (currently only offered in the classroom); and 21 hours of electives.
* Marketplace Issues, 8 hours
Practical Applications, 8 hours
Contracting, Trust Accounting and Closing, 8 hours
And for all responsible brokers, an approved Broker Management Course.
A licensee who has taken Marketplace Issues prior to July 1, 2011, during their current renewal cycle, in order to meet their required course criteria, may take Marketplace Issues again after July 1, 2011, prior to their expiration date, as an elective continuing education course.
