On Friday, July 8, 2011, the Office of the CIO launched a new enterprise GIS communication vehicle, coined ‘Wyoming GeoChat’.
In conversations with agencies and stakeholders, the Office of the CIO has identified a need to provide general information, such as OCIO GIS announcements, relevant industry issues, community events, and other GIS related topics. To meet this need, we have established an enterprise email list, coined ‘Wyoming GeoChat’. You will find the functionality of GeoChat to be similar to a listserve or Google Group. This group is open to any interested parties. If you would like to join the list, please send a request to: jacob.mundt@wyo.gov.
