Technical Advisory Group
Executive Order 2006-1 established at two tiered GIS Coordination structure in the State of Wyoming, administrated through and supported by the Department of Enterprise Technology Services. The first tier is a policy level guidance group (Oversight Committee), and the second tier is a Technical Advisory Group (TAG). The purpose of TAG is to proactively participate in the recommendation and implementation of GIS policy and direction, to provide a forum for GIS cooperative effort and information exchange, to promote the effective and efficient use of GIS resources, and to act as a primary technical advisor to the GIS Oversight Committee. Regularly scheduled TAG business meetings are video conference enabled and take place the third Thursday of every other month.
